Rose <br />suggested that this information be on separate pages. <br />After discussing the Strategic Plan for 30 minutes, Steve asked if the board was <br />ready to move on. The consensus was to move forward with the meeting, with <br />the intention of revisiting the SP when Connie presented the board with her <br />intentions for an updated design. <br />V. Friends of the Library Report <br />There were no representatives making a report for Friends on this day. <br />VI. Director's Remarks <br />Connie told the board that the newest member of the Library Board, Annette <br />Lewis, has not been able to participate yet because she had not made her oath. <br />She has received the agenda and Connie made her a welcome gift bag and <br />hopefully, she will attend the next meeting. <br />Connie informed the board that in January, she will present a list of the library <br />staff's wishes. The Estate of Jo Lorraine Rhodes has been settled. Connie <br />received a check on behalf of the library in the amount of $267,000 and promptly <br />deposited it into its own account for the library. The library staff have put <br />together a list of wishes and Connie would like the board to discuss these <br />wishes at the January meeting. Connie is very thankful for the large donation to <br />the library and will submit a press release thanking her for the contribution. <br />Jennifer asked if stats were being noted at this meeting, to which Connie said not <br />for this one. Steve asked if there were any other remarks from the Director's <br />Report to which Connie replied no. <br />With nothing further to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 5:53 p.m. <br />The next meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board will be held on <br />Wednesday January 21St, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm. <br />Jennifer Cullum <br />Secretary <br />
