Discussion and possible action on the following Minor Certificate of Appropriateness (26- 000005) 27 Clarksville, Canopy improvements, Michelle Scribner. Mrs. Scribner proposed placing afront .fii(wde on the front of the existing canopy changing the height from 6 -8 inches to 18 — 24 inches. Thqry wanted to put the business name, and Chairman Turk had concerns on the canopy and the way it shed water could be blocked if the new.fa(ade was enlarged and could hold water. Commissioner Emmite noted an enlargement of this size would obscure architectural features on the building. Commissioner Coyle raised concerns with the continuity of canopies and the design of the building. Chairman Turk asked the commission if they would table the Certificate of `Appropriateness for the applicant to provide more information and hold a special meeting on February 23, 2026, at 4: 00 p.m. Commissioners all agreed to attend the special meeting.
