Review and act on the Fagade Grant (25-000035) in the amount of $2000 for property <br />located in HD 19, Pine Bluff Fitzhugh Historic District: 528 Fitzhugh, Sharron Hayes <br />Warren (COA 25-000032) <br />This item was removed from the agenda prior to the meeting. <br />12. Discussion and possible action on the following Minor Certificate of Appropriateness (26- <br />000005) 27 Clarksville, Canopy improvements, Michelle Scribner. <br />Mrs. Scribner proposed placing a front facade on the front of'the existing canopy changing <br />the height from 6 -8 inches to 18 – 24 inches. They wanted to put the business name, and <br />Chairman Turk had concerns on the canopy and the way it shed water could be blocked if the <br />new facade was enlarged and could hold water. Commissioner Emmite noted an enlargement <br />of this size would obscure architectural features on the building. Commissioner Coyle raised <br />concerns with the continuity of canopies and the design of the building. <br />Chairman Turk asked the commission if they would table the Certificate of Appropriateness <br />for the applicant to provide more information and hold a special meeting on February 23, <br />2026, at 4: 00 p.m. Commissioners all agreed to attend the special meeting. <br />A motion was made to table until the special meeting by Chairman Turk and seconded by <br />Commissioner Coyle, Motion Carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />13. --CONSENT AGENDA— <br />[Items appearing on this consent agenda may be approved by a single vote of the <br />Commission, with such approval applicable to all items appearing on said agenda.
