MINUTES OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />MARCH 02, 2026 <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Paris held a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the <br />City Flall, Council Chambers, 107 East Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Commissioners Present: Rochelle Jones, Larry Walker, Robert Spain, and Chad <br />Lindsey <br />City Representatives: Osei Amo-Mensah- City Planner <br />Triniti Frazier- Planning Technician <br />Steve Hodges- Engineering Technician <br />Stephanie Harris- City Attorney <br />Michael Smith- Chief Operating Officer <br />Commissioner(s) Absent: Adam Bolton, Paula Portugal, Eric Guillot <br />1. Vice -Chairman Larry Walker called the meeting to order at 530 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' forum. <br />The citizen's forum was declared open. With no one speaking the forum was declared <br />closed. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of February 04, 2026. <br />A motion to approve the minutes was made by Commissioner Robert Spain and secondel <br />by Commissioner Rochelle Jones. Motion carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. <br />4, Conduct a public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Michael <br />Brothers, a Texas General Partnership for a zoning change from an Agricultural District <br />(A) to a Commercial District (C) with a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for Trailer Rental or <br />Sales on LCAD 58969. Legal Description: City of Paris, Block 307-B, Lot 5, 3705 N <br />Main St. <br />Osel Amo-Mensah presented the item. The applicant is requesting the change to utilize the <br />vacant lot for trailer rental or sales behind the existing retail business Rhino Ammo LLC. <br />0 <br />A Specific Use Pen -nit is required for this use type in a Commercial District. Staff <br />recommends approval. <br />The public hearing was declared open. With no one speaking the hearing was declared <br />closed. <br />
