Item No. 20 <br />TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro -Tem, and City Council <br />Rose Beverly, City Manager <br />FROM: Steve Marriott, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: 2025-26 Budget Amendment Number 1 <br />DATE: May 11, 2026 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Thus far this fiscal year there have been several changes that have caused the need for a <br />budget amendment before year end. The largest of these changes are the adoption of <br />stipends for Fire and EMS personnel. Since we needed to adopt a budget amendment for this <br />change, we decided that it made sense to perform a global review and amend budgets as <br />needed. To that end, we have prepared an ordinance amending the 2025-26 budgets for the <br />following funds: <br />General Fund <br />Water Fund <br />Airport Fund <br />Grant Fund <br />Auto Theft Program Fund <br />These amendments are summarized in the following table: <br />
