These purchases <br />were omitted from the original budget. <br />• Grant match for the Sewer CDBG project increased the Water Fund budget by <br />$75,000. <br />• Audit fees increased the Water Fund budget by $45,721. This is because the City paid <br />for two fiscal years' audits this year. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Mayor Pro -Tem Savage and seconded by <br />Council Member Norment. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. <br />21. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081. <br />Ms. Beverly depicted photographs from the Special Needs Prom and said it was very <br />successful and touching. She said staff would do it again next year. Ms. Beverly said it happened <br />with an idea which she mentioned to Chief Salter and he formed a team that made it happen. <br />She expressed sincere appreciation to Chief Salter, Officer James Cooper, Officer Rowton and <br />wife Areri (photographer), Officer Hickson, Sgt. Calhoun, Office Penny and his wife, Officer <br />Crawford, Officer Hawthorn, Sgt. Whitaker and his wife, Officer Norris, Traci King (dispatcher), <br />Holly Brewer (records), Michelle Melton (evidence) and her husband, Community Outreach <br />Officer Kimie Snowton and his wife, Alice Webb (records), Jennifer Maxwell (records), and <br />princesses Ava Smith and Adilyn Fodge. <br />22. Adjournment. <br />There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Mayor Pro -Tem <br />Savage and seconded by Council Member Ladell. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays.
