Call Meeting to Order <br />2. Citizens' Input <br />• (Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more <br />than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act <br />prohibits the Board from responding to any comments other than to referthe matter to a <br />future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. <br />Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members, oremployees are not appropriate for citizens' <br />input.) <br />• If necessary, the Paris Economic Development Corporation may convene into Executive <br />Session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code regarding any item on this <br />agenda. <br />3. Convene into Executive Session: <br />I. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to <br />(1) discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the <br />governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body <br />seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body <br />and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development <br />negotiations; or <br />(2) to deliberate the offerof a financial or otherincentive to a business prospect described <br />by Subdivision (1), to wit: <br />• Project Black Hawk <br />
