Citizen's foram <br />No one spoke at citizensforum. <br />3. Introductions and welcoming of new commission members <br />All commissioners gave a small introduction of themselves and why they chose to serve <br />on a board or commission. <br />4. Review meeting minutes of June 10, 2026 <br />A motion was made to approve the minutes of the June 10, 2026, meeting by <br />Commissioner Kee, seconded by Commissioner Knox. Motion carried 6-0 <br />5. Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness <br />A. CCA 26-000019- Brick repair and window replacement -Sheri Arnold <br />Sheri Arnold represented the application for the property located at 411-11 STNW and <br />reviewed the project scope. The projectplan is to replace approximately 10-15% of the <br />brick and rehab and repoint the whole building. Contractors are intending to match the <br />existing brick as closely as possible. Commissioners viewed photos provided and a street <br />view of the area that needed new bricks. There are signs ofspalling near the upper <br />parapet. Ms. Arnold confirmed there is water penetration in various portions of the <br />interior walls. <br />Ms. Arnold stated that it was necessary to replace the windows because the current <br />windows arefailing. They sought permission to remove the existing windows and replace <br />them withfiberglass windows. Chairman Turk askedfor more information on the <br />condition of the existing windows and ifthey needed replacement or could be repaired. <br />f, 17 0 <br />He also requested product specifications oj rne proposed windows they were planning to <br />use. Ms. Arnold didn't have those available at the meeting. Chairman Turk made a <br />recommendation to table thatportion of the COA application untilfurther information <br />could be received. The commission discussed allowing property owners to proceed with <br />partial approval of working on the bricks, until the necessary information was provided <br />for the window replacements. <br />
