RESOLUTION NO. 2026-033 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />RE -APPOINTING AN ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF <br />ADJUSTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 16 OF THE CITY ZONING <br />ORDINANCE AND THE CITY'S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR <br />STANDING BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Section 16-100 of the City of Paris, Texas Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 <br />states in part that the Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) members, each to be <br />appointed by Resolution of the City council for a term of two years, and two (2) alternate <br />members for terms of two years; and <br />WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy for an alternate member to the Board", <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all <br />things approved and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br />Section 2. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Board of Adjustment: <br />Matthew Armstrong, as an alternate member to serve a two-year term beginning on August 11, <br />2026 and ending on June 30, 2028. <br />Section 3.
