<br />Sec. 28-40. Fees. <br /> <br />For the erection or placing of all signs for which a permit is required by this article, the <br />following schedule of permit fees shall apply: <br /> <br />(1) Up to fifty (50) square feet in area. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. $ 25.00 <br /> <br />(2) Fifty-one (51) to one hundred (100) square feet in area. . . . . . . . . . .. 50.00 <br /> <br />(3) One hundred one (101) to two hundred (200) square feet in area. . .. 75.00 <br /> <br />(4) Over two hundred (200) square feet in area. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100.00 <br /> <br />Sec. 28-41. Issuance. <br /> <br />If the plans, specifications, drawings and descriptions of the work for which application for <br />a permit under the provisions ofthis article are made to conform to the provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />Sec. 28-42. Permit to alter, repair, enlarge, etc. <br /> <br />(a) No sign shall be altered, rebuilt, enlarged, extended, replaced or relocated, except upon <br />the issuance of a permit by the building official, and all work done under such permit shall be in <br />conformity with the requirements of this chapter. Signs which have been erected in conformance <br />with this chapter and with the zoning ordinance, and which have been damaged by windstorm or <br />other natural causes, may be repaired without first securing a permit. <br /> <br />(b) The changing of movable parts of signs which are designed for changing, or the repainting <br />of display matter, or the repairing of damaged neon tubing while a sign is in place shall not be <br />deemed to be alterations, for the purpose of this section. <br /> <br />(c) The fee for a permit under this section shall be the same as prescribed by section 28-40. <br /> <br />Sec. 28-43. Specific use permit. <br /> <br />A sign permitted to be constructed upon the issuance of a specific use permit shall only be <br />issued a permit after the application for such permit has been submitted to the specific use board <br />composed of the mayor or his designated representative, the chairman of the planning and zoning <br />commission, the city engineer, the traffic safety coordinator and the director of community <br />development. <br /> <br />Page 21 of 21 <br /> <br />T~- <br />
