Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the pro rata 8"water main extension to serve the area bounded on the South by Highway 271, on the North by the north boundary line of Lot 2, City Block 347, on the East by private road right-of-way (known as 420d Street S.E.), City Block 353, and on the West by Lot 2, City Block 347, containing approximately 1,015 linear feet of8" P.V.C. water main, be, and the same is hereby, approved and shall be known as the "Pro Rata 8" Water Main Extension 420d Street S.E. Project". Section 3. That the City of Paris act as sponsor of said pro rata water main extension. Section 4. That the front foot rule is the method described in Exhibit A attached hereto, less the cost of oversizing, is found to be equitable and is adopted as the method to be used for refunding the cost of the water and sewer main extension to the water and sewer fund of the City of Paris; and, Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to proceed with said project and that a pro rata contract is waived with regard to this project, but upon completion of the project the actual costs of said project shall be fixed and the price per foot established in accordance with the plan described in Exhibit A attached hereto, which shall be used for the purpose of the charging ofthe pro rata charges to the property owners benefitting from the same and the amounts to be collected in the event of connection to the line so constructed and paid to the water and sewer fund of the City of Paris.
