RESOLUTION NO. 94-043 WHEREAS, an election was held by the qualified voters of District 1, 2, 3 and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 7th day of May, 1994, for the purpose of voting for and electing the Councilmen from each of said Districts to serve as members of the City Council for the ensuing two (2) years, to-wit: 1. Councilman From District One (1) 2. Councilman From District Two (2) 3. Councilman From District Three (3) 4. Councilman From District Six (6) WHEREAS, as required by Order of the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Texas, Paris, Division, in Civil Action No. P-75- 3-CA, and as provided in the Charter of the City of Paris and the laws of the State of Texas wherein they do not conflict with said Order, such election was conducted and held at four (4) specified and designated polling places, that is one polling place in District 1, 2, 3 and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, sealed returns of said election, made by the duly appointed and designated election officials of and for the four (4) respective voting boxes, have been made to the Mayor and City Council of the City of Paris, as required by law, which returns after due and deliberate review and canvass thereof, show the following results of said election, to-wit: (1) IN DISTRICT ONE (1) A TOTAL OF 53 VOTES WERE CAST FOR COUNCILMAN FROM DISTRICT ONE (1) AS FOLLOWS: District Absentee Total Charles E. Fulbright Write-In Candidate 50 3 53 (2) IN DISTRICT TWO (2) A TOTAL OF 11 VOTES WERE CAST FOR COUNCILMAN FROM DISTRICT TWO (2) AS FOLLOWS: Aaron Jenkins Write-In Candidate District 11 Absentee Total 11 (3) IN DISTRICT THREE (3) A TOTAL OF 24 VOTES WERE CAST FOR COUNCILMAN FROM DISTRICT (3) AS FOLLOWS: District Absentee Total John Bell Write-In Candidate 24 24 (4) IN DISTRICT SIX (6) A TOTAL OF 127 VOTES WERE CAST FOR ~"""TT"",""n .".
