<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94. 035 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the City Council of the City of Paris <br />occasioned by the resignation of Jim Bell, and it is appropriate that his successor be <br />timely appointed due to the urgency of City business requiring Council action; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, having submitted <br />the name of Eric S. Clifford, a bona fide resident of District 7 of the City of Paris, <br />a person who possesses all of the qualifications enumerated in Section 17 of the <br />Charter of the City of Paris to serve the unexpired term of Jim Bell, which ends May <br />8, 1995; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that Eric S. Clifford be, and he is hereby appointed as Councilman for District 7 of <br />the City of Paris to serve the unexpired term of Jim Bell, which term ends May 8, <br />1995. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED the 18th day of April, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~~~ <br />Mattie Cunningham, City <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED ASIO FORM: <br /> <br />
