RESOLUTION NO. 94-034 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did on November 15, 1993 in Resolution No. 93-114, authorize the preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for a paved street from the west right-of-way line of 271 North, west and southwesterly approximately 600 feet to the Campbell Soup Company's east property line; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer, with the title being given thereto of SOUP STREET Project, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the plans and specifications for the SOUP STREET Project be, and the same are hereby approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such SOUP STREET Project should be advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock P.M., on Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 10th day of May, 1994. for the purpose of letting such bid.
