<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-016 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution <br />No. 94-015 determine that it is appropriate for the City of Paris to embark upon <br />a redistricting endeavor; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to involve a citizen's committee to <br />participate in the redistricting process and it would be appropriate for the Mayor to <br />appoint said committee after receiving nominations from Councilpersons; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to accept nominations from the Councilpersons from each district as <br />follows: <br /> <br />3 from District No. 1 <br />3 from District No. 2 <br />2 from District No. 3 <br />2 from District No.4 <br />2 from District No. 5 <br />2 from District No.6 <br />2 from District No. 7 <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Paris to appoint such citizens to a committee to assist <br />in the redistricting process. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~"~~l~~ i <br />Mattie Cunningham, City lerk-- <br /> <br />
