<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-006 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service has for <br />some time identified the need for facilities to accommo- <br />date handicapped persons; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris <br />recognizes and concurs with such identified need; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the United <br />States Postal Service is in the best position to assess <br />its needs and the area in which such a facility should <br />be located, and having made such determination, as <br />shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto, the City Council <br />should support the selection of such area absent <br />specific identifiable reasons to object to such area; <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that it does hereby go on record as supporting <br />the United States Postal Service I s selection of the <br />area in which to locate an additional postal facility <br />to provide service to persons desiring or needing <br />handicapped accessible facilities and other postal <br />patrons. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED the 14th day of February, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
