Motion carried, 5 ayes - 0 nays. <br /> <br />E. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-015: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF A RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT ON DAMAGE TO ATMOS <br />ENERGY CORPORATION, MID- TEX DNISION; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Tony explained this Agreement states that if the City tears up one of their lines, we <br />are going to have it repaired. It also states that if Atmos tears up one of our lines, they will <br />have it repaired. We are not going to be billing each other. Council Member Manning <br />wanted to know if we would be coming out even on this Agreement. Tony told him he <br />thought so. <br /> <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Wilson and seconded <br />by Council Member Wilkerson. Motion carried, 5 ayes - 0 nays. <br /> <br />F. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-016: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF P ARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. ONE TO <br />THE SEWER SERVICE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND <br />THE CITY OF TOCO; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS <br />RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Jon Clack said we currently have an agreement with Toco to treat their waste water. <br />Texas Commission on Environment Quality was not comfortable with the Agreement, in that <br />it gave the City of Paris explicit authority to implement and enforce our sewer use ordinance <br />and our industrial pretreatment program. This Resolution addresses that issue. <br /> <br />Council Member Wilson inquired about the age of the contract and its duration. <br />Mayor Fendley said the original contract was written in 1969. Council Member Wilson <br />wanted to know if the rate today is the same rate charged in 1969. Gene Anderson said it <br />needs to be raised, but in the overall revenue stream it was an insignificant amount. Gene <br />
