RESOLUTION NO. 98-047 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there are fifteen (15) feet of right-of-way on the south side of Paris Boulevard, beginning with the east boundary line of Church Street and ending with the west boundary line of 6th Street S.E., and that there is of no necessity or need for said described area for City use other than for a drainage and utility easement; and, WHEREAS, the adjacent property owners on the south side of the preserved right-of-way have requested to purchase the now surplus fifteen (15) feet south of the preserved right-of-way for fair market value as permitted by state law; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the Mayor of the City of Paris be authorized to execute Special Warranty Deeds conveying the south fifteen (15) feet of the preserved sixty-five (65) foot right-of-way of Paris Boulevard to the adjacent property owners, reserving drainage and utility easements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, special warranty deeds conveying to the adjacent owners on the south side of Paris Boulevard, in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, the City's interest in the now surplus fifteen (15) feet of right-of-way located beginning at the east boundary line of Church Street and ending at the west boundary line of 6th Street S.E., save and except the sixty (60) foot width of both 3rd Street S.E. and 5th Street S.E. at their intersection with the south side of Paris Boulevard, it appearing that the real and true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows: Lot I, Block 2 Neagle Addition Gary Cook P.O.
