<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-038
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 26th day of
<br />September, 1997, in Ordinance No. 97-048, approve the purchase of labor and materials for
<br />servicing City of Paris vehicles; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids for such service were received until 3 :00 0' clock p.m., Tuesday,
<br />January 27, 1998; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such service was made by QUICK & E-Z LUBE, 300
<br />Pine Bluff Street, Paris, Texas, and it was awarded the bid for providing such service on the 9th
<br />day of February, 1998; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of the Vehicle Maintenance Agreement, attached hereto as
<br />Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, should be
<br />authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
<br />form of the Vehicle Maintenance Agreement with Quick & E-Z Lube for the furnishing of labor
<br />and materials and the performing of all work required for servicing City of Paris vehicles, attached
<br />hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is
<br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Vehicle Maintenance
<br />Agreement with Quick & E-Z Lube, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in
<br />Exhibit A, attached hereto.
