<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-013 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been a member of the Cooperative Purchasing Program <br />through the Houston-Galveston Area Council since October I, 1990; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate for the City of Paris to purchase two (2) Custom <br />Class fI A" Pumpers, with one as a replacement for the 1978 Mack Fire Truck which will go to <br />reserve status and one as an additional unit for Fire Station No. Four, through said Houston- <br />Galveston Area Council; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is further deemed appropriate Michael E. Malone, City Manager of the <br />City of Paris, be authorized to execute a purchase order for two (2) 1998 Quality Class "A" <br />Pumpers for a total purchase price of $620,000.00; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O~~ THE CITY O~' PARIS, that the <br />City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
