SECTION 4 Portable Radios Fourteen portable radios, 14 spare batteries, 14 swivel carry cases and 14 standard rate desk type drop in chargers are desired. Portable radios shall be synthesized, wideband, minimum 8 channel, UhP 4 watt rU0Cjeu t,WO-\-lCly Fr~ radios. Standard programmable features shall include tone and digital coded 'squelch on a per channel Lasis, selective call decode, carrier control timer, Transmitter and receiver shall be operated from a single battery source. The pewer su~Vly shall be a recbar geable nickel cadium battery pack. The battery shall be securely fastened to the bottom of the rac1io lJY neans of a quick release slide and snap arrangement. No. coins or tools or other mechnical ~evices shall be needed to change a battery.
