<br />FIRST AMENDED <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES <br />COST SHARING <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS ~ <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR ~ <br /> <br />This contract made and entered into this the 1st day of <br /> <br />November, 1989, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a <br /> <br />body politic, acting by and through its Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, <br />duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY; and the COUNTY OF <br /> <br />LAMAR, State of Texas, acting by and through its County Judge, <br />Deane A. Loughmiller, duly authorized, hereinafter called COUNTY; <br />hereby contract and agree as follows: <br />CITY and COUNTY agree to fund professional medical services <br />to be provided by an employed Physician's Assistant as follows: <br />COUNTY to pay for 15% of the employment cost of the physician's <br />assistant and any related liability insurance cost, for up to six <br />hours per week sick call to be provided at the Lamar County Jail. <br />The remaining 85% of the employment cost of the Physician's <br /> <br />Assistant and any related liability insurance cost, shall be paid <br /> <br />one half by COUNTY and one half by CITY. <br /> <br />This contract shall remain in full force and effect until <br /> <br />amended or terminated by the CITY, or the COUNTY. <br /> <br /> <br />In the event that COUNTY's demand for sick call services for <br /> <br />Physician's Assistant increases beyond the six hours provided <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
