<br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-008 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did, in <br />its regular council meeting on February 8, 1988, by <br />Resolution No. 88-011, resolve to provide its wholehearted <br />support to the establishment of an enhanced 9-1-1 Emergency <br />Telephone System and the implementation of the 9-1-1 fee and <br />surcharge in the City of Paris and chose to participate in <br />the 9-1-1 regional plan in accordance with Article 1432f; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State 9-1-1 Commission requires that a <br />Cooperative Working Agreement be in place prior to the <br />systems being operational; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it <br />to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that the <br />Cooperative Working Agreement for the 9-1-1 Emergency <br />Communication System for Lamar County, in the form of Exhibit <br />A attached hereto and made a part hereof which should be <br />approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the form of Cooperative Working Agreement for the 9-1-1 <br />Emergency Communication System, attached hereto as Exhibit A, <br />be, and the same is hereby approved; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the <br />City of Paris, Michael E.
