<br />NO EXTERNAL OKbANIZATION INVOLVED IN THE GRANT <br /> <br />Fonn RA 7 <br /> <br />COOPERATIVE WORKING AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />Prior to the release of funds by cm, the grantee (or its contractor who operates the grant program, if <br />applicable) shall provide to cm signed Cooperative Working Agreements. A Cooperative Working <br />Agreement is required between the grantee (or its contractor who operates the grant program, if <br />applicable) and each significant external organization whose collaboration and cooperation are essential <br />in achieving the goal of the grant project and in carrying out the work plan described in the Program <br />Narrative Section of the grant application. The format and content of such an agreement should follow <br />substantially the following example: <br /> <br />COOPERATIVE WORKING AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This is to cenify that the objectives of the <br /> <br />grant <br />..., <br /> <br />(Name of the applicant organization) <br />application submitted to the Criminal Justice Division of the Office of the Governor have been reviewed <br />and that it is mutually agreed to cooperate to whatever extent is necessary in carrying out the work plan <br />described in that application. <br /> <br />(The following paragraph is applicable onlv when the external organization has personnel <br />assigned to the program described in the grant application.) <br /> <br />Additionally, <br /> <br />is cognizant of the rules and regulations <br /> <br />(Name of cooperating organization or agency) <br />governing the operation of the grant and agrees to abide by any and all such rules or special conditions <br />relating to the application. <br /> <br />Signed: <br /> <br />(Signature) <br /> <br />(Name of applicant organization or its contractor who operates the program) <br /> <br />Signed: <br /> <br />(Signature) <br /> <br />(Name of external organization) <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />As an_al~~rnative to the lan~ag~ o~ered in this model, the Cooperative Working Agreement (signed by <br />both parties) may be composed to enumerate the specific services, actions, and support that each pany <br />will provide to the other with respect to carrying out the work plan described in the grant application. <br /> <br />20 <br />em Fonns Packe~ revised 7/96 <br />
