<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-175 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in March 1995, the City of Paris Police Department seized a large amount <br />of stolen property in Case No. 09505473, which property has since been released by the courts <br />to the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, included among the seized property were two (2) trailers, one being a 4' x <br />6' box or covered trailer, and the other being a 5' x 8' utility flat bed trailer, both of which have <br />been stored at Jerry Pitcock's Wrecker Service, accumulating storage fees in the amount of <br />$2,200.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Police Department desires to use <br />the covered trailer for use with the crime scene van, and Jerry Pitcock, in exchange for the flat <br />bed trailer, has agreed to reduce the storage fees owed by the City of Paris to $500.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of Paris that the flat bed <br />trailer, valued at $1,700.00, be given to said wrecker service in exchange for the reduction of the <br />storage fees from $2,200.00 to $500.00; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />5' x 8' utility flat bed trailer, which was a part of the seized property in Case No. 09505473, be, <br />and the same is hereby, authorized to be transferred to Jerry Pitcock's Wrecker Service in <br />exchange for the reduction of the accumulated storage fees owed thereto by the City of Paris from <br />$2,200.00 to $500.00. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 14th day of <br /> <br /> <br />(.J, ~ <br /> <br />Charles H.
