<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-155 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris <br />that there is a need for sewer service in an area of Paris, and that such need could be best served <br />by a pro rata sewer main extension along 47th Street S.E., Sherwood Drive, Paradise Drive, <br />Lombardy Drive, Ripplewood Drive, and Old Clarksville Road; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, has prepared preliminary plans, <br />specifications, and estimates of the total cost of the project and has delivered same to the City <br />Manager; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be right and proper to have a public hearing concerning the same <br />at the regular council meeting on December 10, 1998, at which time the City Council will <br />determine whether or not the City-sponsored pro rata project should be had; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that a <br />public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session <br />convened on the 10th day of December, 1998, at 6:00 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, <br />City Hall, Paris, Texas, at which time the matter of a City-sponsored pro rata sewer main <br />extension along 47th Street S.E., Sherwood Drive, Paradise Drive, Lombardy Drive, Ripplewood <br />Drive, and Old Clarksville Road will be considered. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Charles H.
