<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-150 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rural Development Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture <br />provides funding for Community Facilities Program Loans; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous of processing a loan <br />application under the Community Facilities Loan Program in an amount not to exceed $1.5 million <br />for use in proceeding with Phase II of the Fire Service Plan, being the construction of Fire Station <br />No.2 and Fire Station No.4; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />1. That an application be made to the Rural Economic and Community Development <br />Agency for a Community Facilities Program loan in an amount not to exceed $1.5 million for use <br />in proceeding with Phase II of the Fire Service Plan, being the construction of Fire Station No. <br />2 and Fire Station No.4. <br /> <br />2. That Michael E. Malone, City Manager of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby <br />appointed as Ihe Authorized Official of said project and is authorized and directed to act in all <br />matters in connection with this application and the City's part in the Community Facilities <br />Program. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of October, 1998. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~t~~~ <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />~~~~ <br /> <br />Scott P.
