<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-140 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 26.05(d) of the Property Tax Code of the State <br />of Texas, on September 16, 1998, a public hearing was held for the purpose of hearing the views <br />of proponents and opponents of the proposed tax rate required to fund and balance the city <br />Manager's proposed budget for fiscal year 1998-99; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an appropriate time for the meeting at which the Council will vote on the tax <br />rate is found to be on the 24th day of September, 1999, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council <br />Chambers, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O~' THE CITY OF PARIS, that a <br />meeting be, and the same is hereby, called for the 24th day of September, 1998, at 6:00 p.m., <br />in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas, to vote on the tax <br />rate. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />Charles H.
