<br />RESOLUTION NO. ~

<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 4th day of
<br />December, 1997, in Resolution No. 97-141, award the contract for uPlum Street 1900 Block
<br />Surface Water Runoff Pollution and Flood Mitigation Project," TXDOT Project No. CSJ 0901-29-
<br />905, to Hilliard & Sons Contractors, Inc.; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer, recommends the
<br />amendment of the contract for said project to remove the fence and gate from the same, providing
<br />for a net decrease of $5,235.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of $139,040.00;
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should,
<br />in all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should be authorized to execute
<br />the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
<br />form of Change Order No. One to the Contract for the uPlum Street 1900 Block Surface Water
<br />Runoff Pollution and Flood Mitigation Project," TXDOT Project No. CSJ 0901-29-905, attached
<br />hereto as Exhibit A, for the removal of fence and gate from the project, providing for a net
<br />decrease of $5,235.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of $139,040.00, be, and the
<br />same is hereby, approved; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT }'URTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be, and he is
<br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order No.
<br />One, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
<br />
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1998.
