<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH <br />ENTERING INTO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEl\fENT WITH TML <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS POOL; MAKING <br />OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Finance Director have identified the necessity <br />of entering into an Interlocal Agreement with TML Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool for <br />the purpose of becoming a member of the TML Intergovernmental Employees Benefit Pool; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received recommendations from representatives of the Texas <br />Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool, which acts as the administrator ofthe <br />City's health insurance program; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the City Manager to execute any and all <br />necessary documents associated with entering into an Interlocal Agreement; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to tiis resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents <br />necessary and required associated with entering into an Interlocal Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3.
