<br />Enclosed are several documents that must be completed by the City of Paris in order to initiate the fiscal
<br />year 2006 routine maintenance grant for the Paris - Cox Field Airport, TxDOT CSJ Number M60lPARIS.
<br />Please review the instructions in this transmittal letter for completing the documents and return the accepted
<br />agreements as soon as possible but not later than February 28, 2006. A notice to proceed for the work
<br />may not be issued until this grant is fully executed. We are most pleased to provide any assistance possible
<br />to help complete this project in a timely manner.
<br />
<br />Enclosed are two copies of the Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program between the City of
<br />Paris, as airport sponsor, and the Texas Department of Transportation. The grant agreement contains three
<br />additional Certifications - Attachment A - Scope of Services, Certification of Airport Fund, Designation of
<br />Sponsor's Authorized Representative. We request that you proceed as expeditiously as possible to execute the
<br />Agreement and complete the Certifications. It will be necessary for your attorney to endorse your acceptance of
<br />the Agreement to assure that it has been accepted in accordance with local laws. Both copies of the Agreement
<br />and Certifications should have original signatures for acceptance.

<br />Please return both copies of the fully signed and witnessed documents to the Texas Department of
<br />Transportation - Aviation Division, 125 E. 11 tb Street, Austin, Texas 78701-2483.
<br />
<br />It is our understanding that the City of Paris will procure the services required for the work as described
<br />on Attachment A of the Agreement and will request reimbursement for 50% of the actual eligible costs from the
<br />State. If you have questions concerning the enclosed documents, please contact me at 1-800-687-4568. The
<br />Texas Department of Transportation looks forward to working with you on the maintenance work for your
<br />community's airport.
