<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD <br /> <br />October 19, 2005 <br />Aikin Building <br />23 East Plaza <br />3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A meeting of the members of the Paris Main Street Adv. <br />Board was held Wed. Oct.19, 2005 at 3 p.m., in the <br />Aikin Building. Beth Golden, Main Street Coordinator, <br />presided. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Barbara Wilson, Walt Brown (Alt.), Suzy <br />Harper, Jennifer Long <br /> <br />ABSENT: Bailey Gant (Alt.), Renee Harvey (Alt.), Drew Crawford, David <br />House, Linda Knox, Pike Burkhart, Zach Saffle <br /> <br />Beth Golden called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />September 19, 2005 minutes were reviewed by board <br />members and a motion was made by Barbara Wilson to <br />approve the minutes as prepared. Suzy Harper seconded <br />and minutes were unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Committee Reports <br />) Organization Committee - Beth Golden reported <br />that a meeting was held October 3rd with TXDOT <br />officials to discuss possible new courtesy <br />signage to be placed at the entry ways to Paris. <br />In the discussion it was also decided to clean up <br />the sign pollution between the city limits signs <br />and the loop. The group would like to see the <br />sign inventory and clean up of unnecessary <br />signage spread even further into the city. <br />Several key members were at the meeting including <br />the city manager, chamber of commerce and main <br />street advisory board members.
