<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET
<br />ADVISORY BOARD TO FILL THE EXPIRED TERMS OF SUZY HARPER,
<br />DAVID HOUSE, BARBARA WILSON AND RENEE HARVEY,
<br />ALTERNATE, WHICH TERMS EXPIRE ON MARCH 31, 2006, AND TO
<br />APPOINT A MEMBER TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF BAILEY
<br />GANT AS ALTERNATE, WHICH EXPIRES MARCH 31, 2007; MAKING
<br />OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
<br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Suzy Harper, David House, Barbara Wilson and Renee
<br />Harvey, alternate, as members of the Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire
<br />on March 31, 2006; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of
<br />Barbara Wilson and the appointment of Lisa House, Casey Rose, and Karol Lyn Moore, alternate,
<br />for terms of three (3) years, beginning Apri11, 2006, and ending March 31, 2009; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Main Street Advisory Board
<br />of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Bailey Gant, and it is necessary to appoint his successor;
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
<br />Matthew Coyle as alternate to serve the unexpired term of Bailey Gant, which ends March 31, 2007;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
<br />approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That Barbara Wilson be, and she is hereby reappointed, and Lisa House, Casey
<br />Rose, and Karol Lyn Moore, alternate, be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as members ofthe
<br />Main Street Advisory Board for terms of three (3) years, beginning April 1 ,2006, and ending March
<br />31,2009.

<br />Section 3. That Matthew Coyle be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term
<br />of Bailey Gant as alternate, which ends March 31, 2007 as a member of the Main Street Advisory
<br />Board of the City of Paris.
<br />
<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
