<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-059 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC <br />COMMISSION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF MATT <br />FRIERSON, WHICH EXPIRES JUNE 30, 2007; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership ofthe Traffic Commission ofthe <br />City of Paris due to the resignation of Matt Frierson, and it is necessary to appoint his successor; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />David Mizell to serve the unexpired term of Matt Frierson, which ends June 30, 2007; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That David Mizell be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term <br />of Matt Frierson, which ends June 30, 2007, as a member of the Traffic Commission of the City <br />of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
