Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br /> <br />C. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-062: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND STEVE <br />COKER FOR INSTRUCTION AND COORDINATION FOR THE BASEBALL <br />AND SOFTBALL PROGRAMS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Council Member Ray said he had a problem with this item, because Council did not <br />support the Breakfast Optimist Club Baseball. Council Member Poston said the City owned <br />the field and a third party owned the Woodall Field. Council Member Wilson said the City <br />needs to support and keep our fields clean in the most cost efficient manner. Council <br />Member Wilson further stated he thought this was a cost efficient manner to maintain what <br />the City owns. <br /> <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Poston and seconded <br />by Council Member Wilson. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 1 nay, with Council Member Ray <br />casting the dissenting vote. <br /> <br />D. RESOLUTION NO. 2006-063: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. TWO TO <br />THE SEWER SERVICE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND <br />THE CITY OF TOCO; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS <br />RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Council Member Manning wanted to know if the rates coincided with the rate study <br />and Tony answered in the affirmative. Council Member Wilson said this is an item that <br />should be reviewed annually. <br /> <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Poston and seconded <br />by Council Member Manning.
