<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-066 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE BAND COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF LINDA <br />SUAREZ, WHICH EXPIRES JUNE 30 2007; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Band Commission of the <br />City of Paris due to the resignation of Linda Suarez, and it is necessary to appoint her successor; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />Becky Semple to serve the unexpired term of Linda Suarez, which ends June 30, 2007; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Becky Semple be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired <br />term of Linda Suarez, which ends June 30, 2007as a member of the Band Commission of the <br />City of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
