<br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />May 1, 2006 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Gerald T. Martin for a change in <br />zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Light Industrial District (L1) on Lot <br />3, City Block 340, being number 2980 Church Street. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Gerald Martin, 12275 FM 137, stated that he is requesting the zoning to sell <br />trailers. It is the old Hardy Oil Company property. Mr. Martin will be selling <br />all kinds of trailers. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Gerald T. Martin for a change <br />in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Light Industrial District (L1) on <br />Lot 3, City Block 340, being number 2980 Church Street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Russell McCain, seconded by Marshall Kent. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED THIS 5TH DAY OF JUNE, 2006 <br /> <br />Reeves Hayter, Chairman <br />
