<br />in such LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as an AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A), and that the <br />boundaries of said LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) be, and the same are hereby, established <br />as follows: <br /> <br />SITU A TED within the corporate limits ofthe City of Paris, County of Lamar, <br />and State ofT exas, being a tract of 5.4 7 5 acres ofland in the James Bourland Survey, <br />being Lot 3, City Block 340, and being the same property described in deed to Paul <br />Brannon dated June 16, 1986, recorded in Book 697, Page 862, Lamar County Deed <br />Records, also being the same property described in Gift Deed from Paul Brannon to <br />Paula F. Brannon recorded in Book 690, Page 059 of the Real Property Records of <br />Lamar County, being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake in the East boundary Line ofthe former Paris-Cooper <br />Road, which point is 2,512.9 feet West of and 413 feet North of the original <br />Southeast comer of the James Bourland Survey; <br />THENCE South 890 East a distance of 575 feet to the West Boundary Line <br />of Texas State Highway #24; <br />THENCE North 24050' East with the West Boundary Line of said Highway <br />a distance of 400 feet to the Southeast comer of the Marvin Bowers Tract; <br />THENCE with the Bowers South Boundary Line 89013' West a distance of <br />734.5 feet to the East Boundary Line ofthe former Paris-Cooper Road; <br />THENCE along the East Boundary Line of said road South 1020' West a <br />distance of 363.1 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Being the same property conveyed to Monsanto Chemical Company by <br />William Clyde Walker and wife, Cornelia A. Walker by deed dated November 23, <br />1960, filed in the office of the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas on November <br />25, 1960 under file no. 3426. <br />And being the same property conveyed in the deed dated May 2, 1967 from <br />E. C. Hardy and wife, Mae Hardy as Hardy Petroleum & Tire Co., a Texas <br />Corporation, recorded in Vol. 455, Page 230, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, <br />to which instrument and records reference is made for all necessary purposes, being <br />number 2980 S. Church Street. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Chief Building Official ofthe City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed <br />to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. <br />1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 4. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br />of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each <br />and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and <br />be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br />expressly repealed. <br />
