<br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />May 1, 2006 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Preliminary Plat on Lots 12, 13, and 13A, City Block 94, being the 1000 Block <br />of North Main. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the Preliminary Plat by Bobby Myers, seconded <br />by Marshall Kent, subject to the City Er)gineer's recommendation. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />12. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of the Hills Phase V. <br /> <br />Motion was made to deny the Preliminary Plat by Russell McCain, seconded <br />by Bobby Myers. The decision to deny was based on the City Engineer's <br />Memo stating that it does not comply with the City's subdivision regulation. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />13. Consideration of and possible action on amendments to the Future Land Use <br />Map, which is a part ofthe Comprehensive Plan, as it relates to the southeast <br />quadrant of Paris. <br /> <br />Reeves Hayter advised the Commission to get their marked up maps to Lisa <br />Wright over the next month so that a map could be developed for them to <br />review. <br /> <br />14. Consideration of and action on making a recommendation to the City Council <br />to appoint a replacement for Carl Lucas as a member of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Lisa Wright advised the Commission that John Mark Spencer has expressed <br />interest in being appointed. The Commission recommended him to replace <br />Carl Lucas as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Reeves <br />Hayter advised the Commission to contact Lisa Wright by Wednesday if any <br />other names come to mind. <br /> <br />The meeting was to adjourn; however, Mr. Martin approached the Commission <br />regarding his zoning change. Reeves Hayter advised him that he needed to <br />speak during his item. Motion was made by Russell McCain, seconded by <br />Bobby Myers to reconvene for consideration of Item #4. Motion carried by a <br />vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Motion was made to remove Items #3 and #4 from the table by Marshall Kent, <br />seconded by Russell McCain. Motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />The Commission now moved back to reconsider Items #3 and #4. <br /> <br />,'. <br />
