<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-121 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated in Cause No.64933, styled The City of <br />Reno, Texas vs. The City of Paris, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Paris that <br />such settlement be approved; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of the Compromise Settlement & Release of All Claims, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should <br />be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />settlement of Cause No.64933, styled The City of Reno, Texas vs. The City of Paris, Texas, be, <br />and the same is hereby, approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be, and he is <br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Compromise <br />Settlement & Release of All Claims, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1998. <br /> <br />Charles H.
