<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-060
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 26th day of
<br />September, 1997, in Ordinance No. 97-047, authorize the purchase of a Low Power AM Radio
<br />Station for the use in the Police Department, and thereafter did advertise for bids for furnishing
<br />said radio station, which bids were received until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 1998; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for the purchase and installation of such radio station was made
<br />by Information Station Specialists, Inc., of Zeeland, Michigan, and it should be awarded the bid
<br />for the same; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Agreement with Information Station Specialists, Inc., attached
<br />hereto as Exhibit A, should in all things, be approved, and the City Manager, Michael E. Malone,
<br />should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the bid
<br />of Information Station Specialists, Inc. for the purchase and installation of a Low Power AM
<br />Radio Station be, and the same is hereby, accepted and let; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of the Agreement with Information Station
<br />Specialists, Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he
<br />is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Agreement with
<br />Information Station Specialists, Inc., upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in
<br />Exhibit A, attached hereto.
