<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />f:attomeylreswork\current\ Appt - Traffic Commission - Unexpired 2006 <br />July 7, 2006 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC <br />COMMISSION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF DAVID MIZZEL, <br />WHICH EXPIRES JULY 31, 2007; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Traffic Commission ofthe <br />City of Paris due to the resignation of David Mizzel, and it is necessary to appoint his successor; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />Ray Banks to serve the unexpired term of David Mizzel, which ends July 31, 2007; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Ray Banks be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term <br />of David Mizzel, which ends July 31,2007, as a member of the Traffic Commission of the City <br />of Paris. <br /> <br />Section 3.
