<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-099 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Claudia Hunt, Sue Lancaster, and Jerry Raper, as <br />members of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on July 31,2006; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of Becki Norment, as an alternate member of the Historic <br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on July 31, 2006; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of <br />Sharon Nabors and Susan Scholz, as members, for a term of two (2) years, beginning August 1, <br />2006, and ending July 31, 2008; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Sharon Nabors and Susan Scholz be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve <br />as members of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, <br />beginning August 1, 2006, and ending July 31, 2008. <br /> <br />Section 3.
