JULY 25. 2006 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK NOON <br /> <br />1. The Board of Adjustment Board meeting was called to order by Chairman <br />Terry Christian at 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Rodney Bass <br />Kyle Mc Carley <br />Howard Corriston (Arrived 12:05 p.m.) <br />Alternates: David Glass <br />Louis Yates <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: None <br /> <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the March 21, 2006, meeting was made by David Glass, seconded by <br />Rodney Bass. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />3. Motion was made to recuse Louis Yates by David Glass, seconded by Kyle <br />McCarley. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Howard Corriston arrived. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of Thou Chan to grant a variance of <br />Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, (1) Section 9-301, to modify the required lot depth <br />from 120' to 71~ which would be a 49' variance; (2) Section 9-701, to modify <br />the required rear setback from 10' to 6~ which would be a 4' variance; and (3) <br />Section 9-701, to modify the maximum rear yard building coverage from 50% <br />to 54.25%, which would be a 4.25% variance, on Lot 1, City Block 255-A, being <br />number 204 25th Street N.E. Louis Yates, the property owner's construction <br />contractor, stated that he can move the building line to 33' from 25th Street <br />N.E. to line up with the house on the north side. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Thou Chan to grant a variance <br />of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, (1) Section 9-301, to modify the required lot <br />depth from 120' to 71~ which would be a 49' variance; (2) Section 9-701, to <br /> <br />.r.. ... <br />
