<br />B. 945 W. Garrett Street; Lot 3, City Block 101 <br />Ruben Gray now owns this house. Mr. Gray just got possession of the structure. He <br />has been trying for 3 years to get it down but has been sick. He will demolish the <br />structure and salvage the lumber. Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by <br />Ryan Lassiter for the property to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per <br />day civil penalty, and if the property is not demolished within the 30 day time period, <br />the City will demolish. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />C. 935 W. Garrett Street; Lot 2, City Block 101 <br />Mr. Gray said that the front is sound but the doors have been kicked in and the <br />windows are broken out. The wiring has been stripped. Mr. Gray has repeatedly <br />secured the house. Mr. Gray would like to take the back part off and eventually <br />expand the house. Motion was made by Stephen Brown, seconded by Chris Brown <br />to accept Robert Talley's recommendation that the property to be demolished within <br />30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty, and if the property is not demolished <br />within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. 519 5th Street NW; Lot 5, City Block 82 <br />Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Ryan Lassiter for the property to be <br />demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty, and ifthe property is <br />not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />E. 951 7th Street NE; Lot 8, City Block 72-C <br />The back of this house is worse than the front. The house is abandoned and the door <br />is open. Motion was made by Ryan Lassiter, seconded by Chris Brown for the <br />property to be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty, and if <br />the property is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. 944 7th Street NE; Lot 1-B, Block 4, Pickard Addition <br />Motion was made by Stephen Brown, seconded by Chad Brown for the property to <br />be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty, and if the property <br />is not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />G. 1133 16th Street SE; Lot Pt. 10, Block 13, Gibbons-Braden Addition <br />Motion was made by Chad Brown, seconded by Chris Brown for the property to be <br />demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty, and if the property is <br />not demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish.
