MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION JULY 10, 2006 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, July 10,2006,5:30, City of Paris, City Hall, Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas with the following members present: 1. Reeves Hayter (arrived 4:36) 2. John Mark Spencer 3. Benny Plata 4. Bobby Myers 5. Barb;ira Forrest 6. Fran~ine Neeley' _ Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development and Shawn Napier, City Engineer was also present. ' 1. The meeting was called to order by Benny Plata, Acting Chairman. 2. The minutes from the June 5, 2006, Regular Meeting and June 22, 2006, . Special Meeting were approved by Bobby Myers, seconded by John Mark Spencer. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays. Reeves Hayter arrived at 4:36. 3. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat for The Admiral Richardson Corner, being number 505 3rd Street NW. Motion was made to recuse Francine Neeley by Reeves Hayter, seconded by Bobby Myers, because she is secretary of Habitat for Humanity. Motion carried 6-0. Lisa Wright stated that Planning and Zoning previously approved the plat but Council denied it due to the setback. The setback has now been changed to 13' to line up with the existing house on the same street. Motion was made to approve the Preliminary Plat by Benny Plata, seconded by Bobby Myers, subject to the City Engineer's recommendation. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. Motion was made for Francine Neeley to return to the meeting by Benny Plata, seconded by Reeves Hayter. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays. 4. Consideration of and action on the Master Plat of the Hills. Motion was made to approve the Master Plat by Bobby Myers, seconded by Benny Plata, subject to the City Engineer's recommendation.
