<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />JULY 10, 2006 <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, July 10,2006,5:30, City of Paris, <br />City Hall, Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas with the following <br />members present: <br /> <br />1. Reeves Hayter (arrived 4:36) <br />2. John Mark Spencer <br />3. Benny Plata <br /> <br />4. Bobby Myers <br />5. Barb;ira Forrest <br />6. Fran~ine Neeley' _ <br /> <br />Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development and Shawn Napier, City Engineer <br />was also present. ' <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Benny Plata, Acting Chairman. <br /> <br />2. The minutes from the June 5, 2006, Regular Meeting and June 22, 2006, . <br />Special Meeting were approved by Bobby Myers, seconded by John Mark <br />Spencer. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Reeves Hayter arrived at 4:36. <br /> <br />3. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat for The Admiral <br />Richardson Corner, being number 505 3rd Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion was made to recuse Francine Neeley by Reeves Hayter, seconded by <br />Bobby Myers, because she is secretary of Habitat for Humanity. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Lisa Wright stated that Planning and Zoning previously approved the plat but <br />Council denied it due to the setback. The setback has now been changed to <br />13' to line up with the existing house on the same street. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the Preliminary Plat by Benny Plata, seconded <br />by Bobby Myers, subject to the City Engineer's recommendation. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Motion was made for Francine Neeley to return to the meeting by Benny Plata, <br />seconded by Reeves Hayter. Motion carried 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the Master Plat of the Hills. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve the Master Plat by Bobby Myers, seconded by <br />Benny Plata, subject to the City Engineer's recommendation. Motion carried <br />
