Responsible for assuring that all City purchases were made in compliance with city <br />charter, ordinances, resolutions, and policies, as well as state and federal law. <br />. Responsible for holding timely administrative hearings in event of a protest (relating to a <br />solicitation); and responsible for rendering Decision after protest hearing is held. <br />. Responsible for appropriate utilization of cooperative purchasing and inter-local <br />agreement opportunities. <br />. Responsible for assisting MBE/WBE (Council) subcommittee and MBE/WBE advisory <br />committee to address MBE/WBE issues related to purchasing process. <br />.
