AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING SUBDIVISION REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 1315 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT SECTION XV BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE FEES FOR PLATS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 2006. WHEREAS, Section XV of the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Paris City Ordinance No. 1315 which sets fees and charges for various plats, has not been revised for several years; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that the fees for preliminary plats, final plats, replats, master plats, and minor plats be revised and approved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Section XV of the Subdivision Regulations, Ordinance No. 1315, of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: "Section XV. Schedule of Fees. The following schedule of fees and charges shall be collected by the City Engineer when any plat is tendered to the City for consideration. Each of the fees and charges provided for herein shall be paid in advance, and no action of the Commission shall be valid until the fees, herein provided, shall have been paid. (1) Preliminary Plat. One hundred dollars ($100.00) per plat plus two dollars ($2.00) per lot. (2) Final Plat. One hundred dollars ($100.00) per plat plus one dollar ($1.00) per lot. ....
