<br />Board Minutes for the <br />Paris Economic Development Corporation <br />June 21, 2006 <br />4:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Board Members <br />Present: Glenn Bawcum <br />Dick Severson <br />Sims Norment <br /> <br />Board Members <br />Absent: Mike Dunn <br />Rodney Bass <br /> <br />Ex-officio Members <br />Present: None <br /> <br />Staff Present: Gary Vest <br /> <br />President Sims Norment called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes of the May 17, 2006 meeting were approved as presented on <br />a motion by Dick Severson, second by Glenn Bawcum. <br /> <br />In the absence of Gene Anderson, Gary Vest reviewed the financials <br />for the period ending May 31, 2006. These financial statements were <br />approved on a motion by Glenn Bawcum, seconded by Dick <br />Severson. <br /> <br />President Norment called on Gary Vest to present the Program of <br />Work and the budget for 2006-2007. This program of work was <br />approved as presented and the budget was approved with <br />amendments. (pOW and Budget are attached) Motion for approval <br />was made by Glenn Bawcum, second by Dick Severson. <br /> <br />Gary Vest presented a proposal for a feasibility study for a crop <br />crusher and a biodiesel operation in Lamar County. This study <br />would be conducted by Heather Day at an approximate cost of <br />$7,000. This study is the next step of the Prospectus of a Biodiesel <br />plant that was conducted by Amy Hagerman at Texas A&M. A <br />
