ADDENDUM NUMBER ONE TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT DATED AUGUST 14,2006, BETWEEN NORTH LAMAR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF P ARIS, PARIS, TEXAS STATE OF TEXAS ) ) COUNTY OF LAMAR ) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that this Addendum Number One to the Interlocal Agreement dated August 14, 2006, between the North Lamar Independent School District and the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is made this 9th day of October, 2006, by and between the North Lamar Independent School District, hereinafter called NLISD, and the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor Pro Tem, Mary Ann Fisher, duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY. WITNESSETH It is hereby mutually agreed by and between NLISD and CITY that the following paragraph be amended to read as follows: "6. For and in consideration of the services described above, NLISD agrees to pay to CITY the sum of $181,392.00 for the services to be provided under this Agreement, payable in twelve (12) equal monthly payments of$15,116.00. The CITY and NLISD agree that the CITY will utilize the School Resource Officers as needed during the summer months after they have exhausted all of their compensatory, normal vacation, and holiday leave. The CITY will pay the officers for any time they work on patrol for the CITY not to exceed thirty (30) days per officer. The amount that the CITY pays the officers for non-school related work and for work on patrol for the CITY will be deducted from the amount that they are paid by the NLISD pursuant to this Agreement. This deduction for the time worked on patrol for the CITY during the previous school year, shall be made from the first payment by the NLISD to the CITY of each school year. Compensatory time may be accrued in excess of 80 hours, but not more than 240 hours, pursuant to this agreement. In the event that an officer accumulates more than 80 hours of compensatory time while working for the NLISD, the NLISD will be responsible for payment of any hours in excess of80 hours, if the officer leaves the CITY prior to using those compensatory hours in excess of80."
