<br />ADDENDUM NUMBER ONE TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />DATED AUGUST 14,2006, <br />BETWEEN NORTH LAMAR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />AND THE CITY OF P ARIS, PARIS, TEXAS <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS ) <br />) <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR ) <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that this Addendum Number One to the <br /> <br />Interlocal Agreement dated August 14, 2006, between the North Lamar Independent School <br /> <br />District and the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is made this 9th day of October, 2006, by and <br /> <br />between the North Lamar Independent School District, hereinafter called NLISD, and the City <br /> <br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor Pro Tem, Mary Ann Fisher, duly <br /> <br />authorized, hereinafter called CITY. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH <br /> <br />It is hereby mutually agreed by and between NLISD and CITY that the following <br /> <br />paragraph be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"6. For and in consideration of the services described above, NLISD agrees to pay <br />to CITY the sum of $181,392.00 for the services to be provided under this <br />Agreement, payable in twelve (12) equal monthly payments of$15,116.00. The <br />CITY and NLISD agree that the CITY will utilize the School Resource Officers <br />as needed during the summer months after they have exhausted all of their <br />compensatory, normal vacation, and holiday leave. The CITY will pay the <br />officers for any time they work on patrol for the CITY not to exceed thirty (30) <br />days per officer. The amount that the CITY pays the officers for non-school <br />related work and for work on patrol for the CITY will be deducted from the <br />amount that they are paid by the NLISD pursuant to this Agreement. This <br />deduction for the time worked on patrol for the CITY during the previous school <br />year, shall be made from the first payment by the NLISD to the CITY of each <br />school year. Compensatory time may be accrued in excess of 80 hours, but not <br />more than 240 hours, pursuant to this agreement. In the event that an officer <br />accumulates more than 80 hours of compensatory time while working for the <br />NLISD, the NLISD will be responsible for payment of any hours in excess of80 <br />hours, if the officer leaves the CITY prior to using those compensatory hours in <br />excess of80." <br /> <br />EXHIBIT! <br />
